Distribution boards

Medium and low voltage

As distributors of the most prestigious international brands of electrical components such as:

We have a wide variety of boards because of our wide versatility we can offer our customers distribution boards in both medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (BT).

Our technical department is always ready to carry out surveys at the end customer’s facilities to fully satisfy the operation service with which the board must count.

ASCO Series 7000 Power Transfer Switches
Ensures the reliable operation of ground fault protection systems and the reduction of transient voltages from the switching of unbalanced loads with the Emerson Network Power ASCO line of automatic and manual transfer switches. The ASCO 7000 Series power transfer switches feature overlapped or switched neutral options. This product can be obtained with a traditional configuration with a two position transfer and with closed or delayed transition operation modes.

Asco Series 7000 Power Transfer Switches
The power transfer switch of the ASCO 7000 Series connection combines automatic power switching with a protection device against overcurrents and disconnections in the power supply. These are typically installed in sites that have a single power supply and a single emergency power source.

ASCO 7000 Series Step-by-Step Power Switches
Synchronize and connect two independent power sources in pairs without interrupting the current flow with our ASCO 7000 Series gradual transfer switches. The switch can be programmed to maintain parallel operation of the two power supplies or transfer the load to the site generator and avoid the compromises caused by the blocking of the load.

Based on UL standards such as NEMA we have:

  • Automatic synchronization with the commercial network for a defined or indefinite time with the commercial network.
  • The energy of the network is always present, the capacity to do transfer and re transference in closed transition.
  • Avoid the annoying power cuts when returning from the normal network.
  • Make self-supply of electrical energy.
  • Exercise the power plant with charge WITHOUT POWER CUT.
  • When there is a power cut of the commercial network, it carries out the retransfer of cargo to the network in closed transition.
  • It allows the load taking in Ramp (load Ramp) on the part of the electrical plant, avoiding the sudden load and the associated transients.
  • Reduce electricity costs in the most expensive time (peak hours).
  • It allows to work in Peak Shaving (cut of peaks) and Base Laod (load base).
  • Measurement of fuel level in percentage.
  • Parallel synchronizes several power plants with the normal network and allows the automatic distribution of loading and unloading.
  • It has the protections of ground fault and reverse power TO THE NORMAL NETWORK AND TO GENERATION.
  • All parameters and settings are monitorable VIA INTERNET WITH TCP PROTOCOL IP.
  • Work with power plants of any installed brand that meets the requirements for synchronization.

This board will give us the advantage of reducing manufacturing costs since having the synchronism switch and the control module in a cabinet on one side of the generator reduces the price of having a copper bus, as well as it will allow us to give the option of converting the electric plant into a mobile system.

Generator-mounted control panel

Auto control board supported with synchrony bus

The boards of the self-supported type as shown in the following figure have the advantage of concentrating the transfer boards and load centers united in a single block, allowing the operator to concentrate its operation and monitoring of the equipment in a single point.

The modules with which these boards are manufactured have all the functions associated with the verification of synchrony and self-synchronization. In addition, it has a perfect monitoring control of the load / discharge distribution, making said process in soft ramp mode

They offer a high level of security of electric backup to a load since it allows us to monitor the commercial network and have several power plants in backup and to ensure that if any of the plants fails the system will send a start signal to the other equipment through its MULTISET internal information system, giving us the security of a fully automatic process. By having a system with several generators in parallel it is possible that due to the level of load presented by the system this same command to start or stop the equipment interconnected in the system.
